A global leader in the business process services industry needed to open a new back office center and had limited geographic parameters. Silverlode analyzed nine key demographic and economic indicators that were critical to the client and provided a weighted location factor analysis of more than 350 MSAs. We provided a detailed analysis of the highest ranked MSAs and then worked with the client to filter the options down to six short-list locations. Silverlode conducted a comparative operating cost model that analyzed labor and payroll, property taxes, corporate taxes, utilities, real estate costs, and public transportation access.
Silverlode identified available buildings and incentives and helped the client select a community in the Southeast. The new center is one of the most productive back office operations for the company and employs over 1,000 people.
